Installation Ceremony and Dinner 2016-2017

The Legion 2016 -2017 Post Installation ceremony and banquet Dinner will be held

on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Installation of officers is scheduled for 4pm at The Post

Chairman Peter Woo Auditorium; follow immediately by the annual banquet at The

Jing Fong Restaurant at 6:00pm

Anyone who wishes to attend the banquet, must register with the Chinese Secretary from Monday May 9, 2016 to Sunday, May 22, 2016 (2 - 4 pm daily). The cost of The Installation Banquet ticket is $15.00 per ticket and maximum 2 tickets each. You must bring your 2016 SAL membership card with you when purchasing tickets. 

Additional tickets can be purchased beginning May 16, 2016 for $30.00 each. Maximum of 8 additional tickets per member.

KimLau Post Annual Lunar New Year Dinner 2016

The Post Lunar Year Celebration Dinner will be held on
 Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 6 pm at the Joy Luck Palace Restaurant 
located at 98 Mott Street and 28 Delight Restaurant located at 28 Pell Street.
 Anyone who wishes to attend must purchase their tickets with the Chinese Secretary
at the Post starting from Monday, December 28, 2015 to Sunday, January 10, 2016
 between 2- 4 pm daily.

Wednesday November 11, 2015 Veterans Day Midtown 5th Avenue Parade (12:00 Noon) Hosted by United War Veterans Council.

*Just a reminder, All SAL Officers and Past Officers are require to wear The SAL Caps, Jacket, Slacks, shirt, Tie and Shoes while marching in these parades.

9/11 Event

The Kimlau Post will hold a 9-11 remembrance ceremony on this Friday, September 11th, 7:00pm

at the Kimlau Square. 

There will be Refreshments served at the Post on the second floor at 6:00pm.

Post picnic

The  Lt. B. R. Kimlau Chinese Memorial Post 1291 2015 Annual Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 (9am to 5pm) at the Platzl  Brauhaus, 127 Cal Hollow Road, Pomona, New york 10970, Phone 845-354-2111

$15.00 per person. Maximum 2 tickets per SAL member. First come first served with BUS Transportation. Bus will depart from the Legion building 9:00am sharp.

$10.00 per person (Lunch only, own transportation and parking fee).

Registration Date:  From Monday July 6, 2015 - Sunday July 19, 2015 (2 to 4pm daily at Post Headquarters).
